Santella develops microbiome-driven vaccines that combine immune protection with targeted ecosystem modulation to prevent disease in livestock. Our lead candidate targets avian pathogenic E. coli (APEC), a major cause of losses in poultry. By reducing antibiotic use, we address antimicrobial resistance while improving productivity and sustainability. The company is a spinout from the University of Bern.
