Dario Silberschmidt

Dario is an attorney specializing in technology startups, venture capital financing, M&A transactions, and all adjacent fields. He is a partner and co-head of the Startup & VC Desk team at Kellerhals Carrard in Zurich, the #1 most active VC law firm in Switzerland (and 3rd most active in all of DACH).
In his daily work, he advises founders of innovative and scalable technology companies from all industries (particularly university spin-offs) throughout all phases of the startup lifecycle. This includes incorporation and spinning out, debt and equity financing rounds, founder disputes, employee participation programs, licensing agreements, and exits. He also regularly advises venture capital investors (business angels, VC funds, corporate venture capital investors) on all aspects of investments and during the entire holding period. Dario frequently acts as speaker and lecturer in his field (notably at ETH and HSG), conducts workshops for founders across Switzerland, and participates as a jury member in pitching competitions.
Dario also invests privately in promising Swiss technology startups.
